Elev8 Creative Arts Classes

Intro to Drawing

Students will be introduced to basic observational freehand drawing techniques, including line, form, light and shade and composition. Each class focuses on a particular formal concept and its function in drawing.

Intro to Water Colors

Students will learn the basic techniques all watercolorists use in every painting they do. Mix yellow, red and blue to make all the colors you need. Use the classic method of making all your colors from primary colors. Learn about soft edges and hard edges; how to make them and when to use them.

Little Squirts Finger Painting

When children can feel the cool, squishy texture of the paint and experiment with colour and patterns, it encourages their creativity. It's also a good way for children to express emotions. Finger painting develops children's fine motor skills too, which they need for writing later on.

Arts & Crafts

Does your youngster show interest in art and creativity? This is the perfect class to get the aspiring young artist to follow their passion. Each class they will use a plethora of different art supplies including; pipe-cleaners, tissue paper, pom-poms, beads, buttons, and much more to create fun and exciting projects that will highlight their artistic expression

ART on DISPLAY

At the end of every session our instructors will display your child's art on the walls of our hallways for all to see. We will celebrate our young artists with a final showing that will include music, prizes, photos, and fun for all.
